INFRARED

SAUNA

IN GRANADA HILLS

A private, four-person infrared sauna — entirely to yourself. Your heat, your lighting, your show on the big screen.

Most saunas come with strangers. Ours comes with a door that's yours. Book a session and the entire sauna — spacious enough for four — belongs to you: stretch out, bring your partner, and put whatever you want on the TV — the game, YouTube, a movie — with sound through the room's speakers. All while far-infrared heat warms you from the inside out: gentler air than a traditional sauna, deeper warmth where you actually feel it. Your first session is $29.

INFRARED vs. TRADITIONAL SAUNA

— the Honest Comparison

A traditional sauna heats the air to 160–200°F, and the scalding air heats you. Our infrared sauna reaches about 155°F while far-infrared light warms your body directly, several millimeters into muscle and tissue. Cooler room, deeper heat.

That's why people who find steam rooms suffocating love infrared: you can actually breathe, stay in longer, and sweat just as hard — often harder. The lower number on the thermometer isn't a weaker sauna; it's a smarter delivery system. (We wrote a full breakdown: Infrared vs. Traditional Sauna — which is right for you?)

Ours is a Clearlight — one of the most respected names in infrared — with built-in chromotherapy lighting: choose a single color that matches your mood, or let the full spectrum rotate through your session.

And unlike the sauna at a gym, this one is private — and it comes with a TV wired to the room's speakers. No negotiating bench space, no other people's towels, no cutting your session short because someone's waiting. The room is yours for the full session: put on the game, queue a movie, run a YouTube playlist, or turn it all off and just sweat in peace.

INFRARED SAUNA BENEFITS

Results vary from person to person, and like all recovery habits, the sauna rewards consistency.

YOUR FIRST SAUNA SESSION

STEP BY STEP

  1. Book online — about 60 seconds. Same-day openings are often available.

  2. Arrive and settle in. Your private room is ready and pre-heated. We provide towels; wear a bathing suit, gym clothes, or a towel — whatever you're comfortable in. You'll have privacy to change.

  3. Set the vibe. Pick your chromotherapy lighting — one steady color or the auto-rotating spectrum — and your music, or grab the remote and put the game, YouTube, or a movie on the TV with sound through the speakers. Then step in, sit back, and let the heat build.

  4. Your session — 30, 45, or 60 minutes of deep heat. Bring water and sip as you go. If you're new to sauna, it's fine to step out and cool off — your session, your pace.

  5. Cool down and glide out. Towel off, rehydrate, and enjoy the loose, lit-from-within feeling that follows a real sweat. Most guests plan about 45 minutes at the studio in total.

WHO BOOKS THE

INFRARED SAUNA

AT AWAKEN

  • Athletes and lifters using heat as the recovery bookend to their training week

  • Couples and friends — the sauna seats four, and a shared session is the rare recovery ritual that's better with company

  • Steam-room skeptics who want the sweat without the 190°F air

  • Stressed-out professionals who need 40 unplugged minutes more than anything else on the menu

  • Sports fans — yes, you can watch the game from inside a sauna that's entirely yours. It ruins gym saunas forever.

  • Cryo regulars finishing a Fire & Ice contrast circuit

HOW OFTEN

SHOULD YOU USE

AN INFRARED SAUNA

Most of our regulars come in two to four times a week, depending on goals and schedule — and like everything in recovery, the results compound with consistency. It's also the easiest habit on our menu to keep: it's the one that feels like pure indulgence while it works.

MAKE IT

A CIRCUIT

  • Fire & Ice: cryotherapy + sauna — the contrast circuit regulars swear by. Four minutes of cold, then deep heat. There's nothing like it on either side of the Valley.

  • Sauna + red light — heat then light, the full wind-down.

  • Sauna + compression — warm the body, then flush the legs, hips and low back, or arms.

And because we live inside Le Rêve Salon and Spa, you can stack a sauna with a facial, massage, nails, or hair — one visit, head to toe.
