CRYOTHERAPY

IN GRANADA HILLS

Four levels of cold, from -140°F to -175°F. A private room. Your music, your lights — or total darkness.

First session $25.

Step into our all-electric, nitrogen-free cryotherapy chamber for the fastest reset in the building. Wind-driven cold surrounds your whole body — head to toe — for just under four minutes while you control everything: your level of cold, your playlist on real headphones, your lighting in the room and the chamber. No shared spaces, no nitrogen vapor, no ice bath. You walk in tense and walk out lit up — in about 10 minutes door to door.

A NITROGEN-FREE,

ALL-ELECTRIC CHAMBER

— and Why That Matters

Most cryotherapy you'll find in LA uses liquid nitrogen: a tank-fed unit that surrounds your body with nitrogen vapor while your head sticks out the top. Ours is different — a fully electric, nitrogen-free chamber that cools breathable fresh air evenly around your entire body, head included. The same all-electric chamber technology used in professional sports facilities.

What that means for you:

  • Even, controlled cold — no vapor clouds, no uneven zones

  • Breathable air the entire session — nothing to avoid inhaling

  • Whole-body means whole body — head-to-toe exposure, not neck-down

  • You're in control — adjust the temperature to your comfort, pick your music, set the room lighting. First-timers can start milder; veterans can chase the deep cold.

And you're never locked in. The door opens from the inside, our team is right outside, and you can end a session at any point.

FOUR LEVELS OF COLD You Choose How Deep to Go

  • BEGINNER

    -140°F with light winds

  • INTERMEDIATE

    -150°F with moderate winds

  • PRO

    -166°F with high winds

  • EXTREME

    -175°F with extreme winds

Every session is yours to calibrate. First visit? Start at Beginner and feel it out. Chasing the deepest cold? Extreme is waiting — and most guests work their way up to it over weeks, which is half the fun.

About those -250°F ads you've seen: those are nitrogen machines, and that number describes nitrogen vapor at the sensor — not air your body sits in. In a nitrogen unit your head stays outside the tank entirely. Our chamber cools real, breathable air around all of you, head to toe — and then adds wind. Moving cold air strips heat from skin far faster than still air, which is why our Extreme setting doesn't need a -250 sticker to be the coldest thing you've ever voluntarily walked into. Ask any guest who's tried both.

SUMMIT MODE

Total Darkness, Total Silence

Here's something nobody else around does: turn everything off. Lights out — so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face — headphones silent, just you and the cold at the top of the mountain. No screens, no sound, no distractions. Four minutes of pure presence. Guests who try it once tend to never go back to sessions with the lights on.

Prefer the opposite? Full customization runs the other way too: any color lighting in the room and the chamber, and any music you want on real headphones — not overhead speakers like most studios, but sound that surrounds you as completely as the cold does.

  • -140F to -175F with Windchill

  • 100% Fully Electric Breathable Air

  • Personal Music Experience

  • Choose Your Altitude

CRYOTHERAPY BENEFITS

Results vary from person to person, and like training itself, cryotherapy works best as a regular routine.

A man standing inside a fog-filled, purple-lit cryotherapy chamber labeled 'Everest powered by CryoBuilt,' wearing headphones and black athletic pants.
A woman wearing a black athletic outfit, gloves, a headband, and a face mask with snow on face and hair in a cryotherapy chamber.

YOUR FIRST CRYO SESSION,

STEP BY STEP

  1. Book online — about 60 seconds. Same-day openings are often available.

  2. Arrive and gear up. You'll have a private room. Men wear shorts or boxers; women can wear underwear, a bathing suit, or whatever allows the most skin exposure. We provide gloves, socks, slippers, and a face mask to protect your extremities — plus headphones for your playlist.

  3. Pick your settings. Choose your level — Beginner (-140°F) through Extreme (-175°F) — your music, and your lighting. Or go Summit Mode: total darkness, total silence. Our team dials it in and walks you through everything before the door closes.

  4. Just under four minutes of cold. Sessions run 3:45 to 4:00. It's intense, it's invigorating, and it's over fast. Breathe steady — the first minute is the hardest, and then your body finds it.

  5. Warm back up and feel it hit. The post-cryo rush — warmth, energy, and a lighter mood — is the part people come back for. Total visit: about 10 minutes door to door once your waiver's on file.

CRYOTHERAPY vs. COLD PLUNGE:

What's the Difference?

Many of our regulars are former cold-plungers, and they all say a version of the same thing: the plunge was a fight, and this is an experience. Cold water pulls heat fast and hurts the whole way through; cold air is intense but genuinely enjoyable — your playlist on, your lights set, under four minutes, done. And that matters more than it sounds like it should, because cold works through consistency. The version you enjoy is the version you'll actually do three times a week — and repetition is where the results live.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD

YOU DO CRYO

Like training, cold works through consistency. Many of our regulars come in two to three times a week — often timed after workouts — and settle into whatever rhythm their body responds to. Since a full visit takes about ten minutes, frequency is easy to sustain; that's the entire design. Tell us your goal at your first visit and we'll suggest a starting cadence.

MAKE IT

A CIRCUIT

  • Cryo + red light — cold then light, the classic recovery double

  • Cryo + infrared sauna — fire and ice; the contrast session regulars swear by

  • Cryo + compression — freeze, then flush your legs

And because we live inside Le Rêve Salon and Spa, you can stack any session with a facial, massage, nails, or hair — one visit, head to toe.
